New ESB Reutlingen PhD programmes in conjunction with Università del Sacro Cuore (Milan / Piacenza)

ESB-Dean Prof. Dr. Ottmar Schneck, ESG graduate Simon Fauser, Dean of the UCSC, Prof. Dr. Maurizio Baussola, and the President of Reutlingen University. Prof. Dr. Peter Nieß are glad about the new cooperation.
ESB Business School at Reutlingen University and Università del Sacro Cuore (USCS) in Milan and Piacenza are working on further developments of their long-standing collaboration in the fields of research and doctoral studies. In addition to its international bachelor and masters' programmes in the International Partnership of Business Schools (IPBS), ESB will in future also be offering a PhD programme together with the Italian university. Subjects covered in the programme will include Entrepreneurship, Intercultural Management, Macroeconomics, and Innovation Management.
At the graduation ceremony on 8th November this year, the President of Reutlingen University, Prof. Dr. Nieß, and the Dekan of ESB Business School, Prof. Dr. Ottmar Schneck, together with the Dean of the UCSC Faculty of Business, Prof. Dr. Maurizio Baussola, signed the agreement to establish this new programme.
Applicants will be selected jointly by UCSC and ESB Reutlingen. Theses presented by Reutlingen doctoral candidates will be supervised and assessed by professors from USCS and ESB. Prof. Dr. Hans-Peter Baumeister and Prof. Dr. Stefan Seiter will be responsible for this programme at ESB.
The first steps have already been taken. ESB professor Dr. Jürgen Roth is supervising the doctoral studies of ESB graduate Simon Fauser, an academic assistant at the ESB Research Institue, on the subject of Regional Labour Markets.
